Stiff, upright growing. Distinguished from other nematanthus species having upside down flowers by the nearly equal, oblong, tip-pointed leaves. Also remarkable for the long, narrow corolla tube, scarcely swollen, which is scarlet with an orange throat. Medium green foliage.
